How To Train Your Dragon 2 trailer 2
This film looks amazing! The plot seems rather interesting in that it doesn't look like a rehash of the first movie, and we'll be introduced to Valka, voiced by Cate Blanchett, a woman who trains dragons who turns out to be (SPOILERS) Hiccup's mother. She was briefly mentioned in the first movie, but it seemed like she died, but judging this, it looks like she abandoned her husband and son because of her belief that dragons can be tamed (must be a genetic thing) Even if she only has a few lines, I know Cate Blanchett will be excellent voice acting in this and will be a great addition to the Dragons franchise (I've seen a few episodes of the TV show, and I like it. Much better than the Monsters vs Aliens series) I hope we get to see more of the relationships between the characters like Hiccup and Toothless, Hiccup and Astrid and maybe even Valka and Stoic! The characters still seem their same selves, and I find it interesting to see how the teens have aged (looks like puberty was kind to Hiccup)The animation of course, looks stunning, this is Dreamworks, and it looks like a major step up from Turbo and The Croods! I can't wait to see this movie in cinemas next year, but will it fly high and be on par with the first movie, or did Dreamworks get caught on fire during production? We'll have to wait and see!
